Bill Pappas

Certified public accountant, small business owner, and investor.
William E. Pappas is a Certified Public Accountant and Partner in American Online Learning Center. Licensed as a CPA since 1983, Bill has lived in Northeast Ohio his whole life, and has spent a career providing valuable financial advice to clients based on practical experience he has spent building businesses.

Bill graduated Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Accounting. Upon graduation, Bill worked his way up the ladder and became Vice President of Finance and Administration for Athens Pastries & Frozen Foods, the largest maker and distributor of Greek foods in the world. Bill worked on the line making baklava, and other foods, and devised innovative marketing strategies to help create a $12.5 million annual business. That is a lot of pastry!

Simultaneous to his service with Athens, Bill became a staff accountant with Deloitte, Haskins, and Sells (now Deloitte and Touche) Accountancy Firm. Bill was involved with audits, client advisory services, and developed clients ranging from families to large governmental and business entities.

In 1990, Bill founded his own firm, now known as Pappas & Bitounis in Westlake, Ohio offering many types of financial services including: tax return and preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, financial consulting, client write up services, and strategic financial advice.

While creating an impeccable reputation in the area of finance, Bill is active living his faith, dedicated to helping others, and is a talented musician, writing his own music, composing, and singing. Bill is a foremost collector of Beatles rock and roll memorabilia. He and his wife reside in Greater Cleveland.
